Air Conditioner Service Check List – minimum requirements
- Test all functions of Split Air Conditioner Unit
- Check surroundings and protect with waterproof tarp.
- Place waterproof tarp over all floor coverings or furniture below the air con unit
- Take before and after photos to send or show our clients.
- Remove cover (Unscrew), take outside, de-grease/dust/wash and rinse.
- Remove, clean, and sanitise filters.
- Spray special Air Con Cleaning foam which kills mould, bacteria and loosens dirt from coils, drain, fan, fan housing and filters. Leave it for 5 minutes to activate.
- Clean top and ends of unit.
- Flush and check the drain to avoid possible leaks.
- Check fan blades and covers for corrosion and/or grime.
- Spray sanitizer over evaporator coils to prevent mould and bacteria from regrowing.
- Reassemble all components.
- Apply Deodorise and Reassemble all components, dry excess moisture on or around the aircon unit and test airflow again.
- Test run unit
- Check client is happy and sign service form.
- Organise next service visit and leave contact card.
Provide a completed next service sticker with recommended next service date.
